Many people might not be aware, but pests carry bacteria and other germs that cause diseases – even those not visible to the naked eye. NPMA is excited to share “What Grows There”, a video series that highlights the undercover threats transmitted by pests by swabbing their feet, tails and underbellies. Check out the episodes below to see how mice, cockroaches and house flies grow bacteria and carry foodborne illness drivers like E. coli, salmonella and campylobacter on their bodies and spread them throughout homes, hotels, restaurants and other places where pest infestations can occur.
